Command hooks are awesome for hanging lights and advent calendars. My kids especially like it when we hang Christmas lights on their bedroom walls. They are almost excited to go to bed each night so they can look at the lights as they go to sleep! And the lights are hassle free to put up and take down! It's a win, win, for me.

My daughter just started Pre-K and would come home with a project every time she went to school. I didn't know what to do with them so I hung two Command hooks on either side of her play area in the basement and ran a string between them. As she completes projects I use clothes pins to hang them on the line. She loves seeing her work displayed and no damage was done to the wall.

I use Command hooks to hang Christmas stockings. This year I'll use them to hang garland over the doorways, the mantel, and the banister.

Tip #4
Command strips can be placed at intervals on the walls to drape garland and hang ornaments, cards or wreaths. They are easily removed after the holiday!
