3M Health Care Services and Consulting (HCSC) provides strategic and implementation support to health care organizations to improve clinical processes, facility economics, regulatory compliance and staff knowledge.

As the services unit of 3M Health Care in Canada, HCSC provides evidence-informed and best practice-based recommendations that are not directly affiliated with any product interests within 3M.

As a Lean Six Sigma company, 3M has extensive experience in project execution within its own operations, as well as externally with both Suppliers and Customers.

Lean Six Sigma is not just a set of tools, but also a business operating philosophy. The customer is the focus of all activity, and the value attached to a service or product is defined from the customer’s point of view.

Lean Six Sigma helps to eliminate "non-value added" activities, and the customer reaps the maximum benefit.
