HELPING CANADIANS STAY IN THE GAME THIS SUMMER
May 27 2013, London, Ontario – 3M Canada is excited to announce a new partnership with Tensor Brand from 3M and the Canadian circuit of the 2013 Spartan Race Series.
Supporting athletes and spectators on-site at the notoriously tough obstacle races, Tensor will host a taping station for athletes and a fitting station for those interested in exploring Tensor supports.
“Spartan races are tough challenges that push athletes to their limits,” said Eini Telford, Tensor Brand Manager at 3M Canada. “Tensor is committed to supporting these athletes to stay in the game and stay active.”
The Tensor Brand experts in the fitting station will help athletes and spectators find support products that fit their body and lifestyle. For best results, tools like braces and supports need to fit comfortably and properly.
“When it comes to treating and preventing minor injuries with health supports, the proper fit is important for weekend warriors and serious athletes alike,” said Telford. “The chance to get fitted by experts and actually try on Tensor products is a unique opportunity that isn’t commonly available in retail stores.”
In addition to the Tensor taping and fitting stations, 3M Canada is also stocking first-aid tents with Nexcare™ First Aid Products to help Spartan Race Staff treat minor abrasions, cuts and scrapes.
The Canadian circuit of the 2013 Spartan Race Series begins in Montreal on May 25, 2013 and goes until September 29, 2013. The Tensor taping and fitting stations will appear at the following stops on the circuit:
